Misty Cliffs Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is my fave white varietal, the drier the better. Kim Crawford is my reference standard. Misty Cliffs isn't that, but it's much better than most NA whites, which tend to give an impression of unsweetened grape juice with little complexity. Misty Cliffs misses a little of the tartness and isn't quite as dry as I'd like, but it's a very pleasant and balanced white.

Whether I am taking a break or it is dry January, Misty Cliffs is a great low calorie alternative with better flavor than most wines. It is my go-to NA wine. Hands down above the rest!

I visited South Africa a number of years back and loved the wines there. Happy to see that South Africa is also making some great NA wines as well! It was fresh and crisp and reminded me of my trip to the Cape.

Misty Cliffs tastes the closest to actual wine that I have ever tasted! Most N/A are too sweet but they have gotten it right!
