Each Misty Cliffs wine begins with full fermentation: yeast transforms grape sugars into alcohol and CO₂, creating the complex flavors found in premium wine. Afterward, the alcohol is gently removed through a specialized process that preserves aroma, flavor, and structure.

Our wines contain roughly 10 times less sugar than regular grape juice. While grape juice typically has around 220 g/L, Misty Cliffs wines average about 25 g/L offering balanced flavor without excess sweetness.

Absolutely. About 90% of non-alcoholic wine drinkers also enjoy alcoholic wines; much like choosing a decaf coffee in the evening while still appreciating regular coffee earlier in the day.

Our grapes are sourced from coastal and inland vineyards across the Western Cape of South Africa; from cool, ocean-influenced regions like Darling (ideal for Sauvignon Blanc) to warmer inland areas like Stellenbosch and Swartland (perfect for Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot).
