From the Swartland region swirling with strawberry aromas and beautiful acidity. Light salmon pink in color. The nose shows orange blossom. The palate shows beautiful strawberry and floral notes, with a light sweetness on the finish.

Very Nice Rosé

I had a girlfriend once who really liked White Zinfandel, and after we broke up I didn't really care if I never had another glass of Rosé. But then I lived in Montréal for a year and discovered very dry French Rosés, which became one of my favorites. Easier to find in the USA now than they were in the 1990s and 2000s.

Misty Cliffs Rosé doesn't evoke those for me, it's not quite dry or complex enough. But it is very nicely balanced and fruity without any sense of "unsweetened grape juice". I was wary that it might be like a White Zin, but it's not at all.

If you're looking for a real Rosé, Misty Cliffs is very nice, you won't be disappointed.
